• Juliana Street (from Pitt Street to Penn Street) – 8:30 a.m. thru 12:00 p.m.

Fall Foliage participants, persons working for political candidates, and the general public are all reminded that it is a violation of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code to drive a nail or tack or attach any metal or hard substance to or into any pole of any public utility pole line. Persons violating this Commonwealth law are guilty of a summary offense.

Erecting signs, by any method, in the Borough of Bedford on street trees, utility poles, traffic signal poles, sign posts or on any public property is also a violation of the Borough of Bedford’s Sign Ordinance. Persons found guilty of violating this Borough Ordinance are subject to a fifty ($50.00) dollar fine.

The Borough of Bedford reminds visitors to the Fall Foliage Festival that “NO PARKING ZONES” are designated for the specific purposes of protecting lives and property. It is illegal, at any time, to park vehicles in “NO PARKING ZONES” which are designated by official signs and/or yellow paint on the curbs. It is also illegal to block driveways with parked vehicles.

Vehicle owners/operators are reminded that it is illegal to reserve parking on or along public streets by means of blocking or barricading portions of the said streets. Section No. 6125 of the Vehicle Laws of PA pertaining to the unauthorized controlling of traffic will be enforced.  Questions regarding this matter should be directed to the Bedford Police Department.

Enjoy the Festival by parking in legal areas and by respecting the safety and rights of others.
